 is a licensed Toronto plumbing company that does one thing: backwater valves. Installs, replacements, inspections, emergency repairs, and the City of Toronto subsidy paperwork that goes with them.

Our Story

## Built Around the Paperwork Everyone Else Skipped

In August 2005, a storm over the north end of the city washed out part of Finch Avenue and flooded about 4,700 homes across the GTA. Basements that had never seen water filled with sewage overnight. In the months that followed, the City of Toronto expanded its Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy to help homeowners install backwater valves.

The subsidy was generous. Claiming it was not simple. Homeowners needed a drain permit, a licensed plumber, a City inspection, a paid itemized invoice and the right forms, all lined up in the right order. We watched people pay for a valve and then lose the rebate because one document was missing or one step was skipped.

So in 2008 we started a company that would handle all of it. Our founder had spent seven years as a licensed drain and sewer specialist with a Toronto plumbing group, and the plan was simple: do the install properly, test it every time, and file the subsidy for the homeowner as part of the job. No extra fee, no handing them a stack of forms on the way out.

Seventeen years and more than 2,400 installs later, that's still how we work. We've added exterior installs, dual flapper valves, sump pump combos, insurance claim work and annual inspection programs for property managers. But the core hasn't changed. Every job starts with a free camera scope, every valve gets a backflow test, and every eligible customer gets their subsidy filed and tracked until the cheque arrives.
